quickSub - making feed subscribing easier for your readers!

What is this?

If you've arrived at this page, it probably means that you've clicked on the [What is this?] link within a quickSub window. quickSub provides an easy way to quickly subscribe to syndicated content on the web.

What is syndicated content?

You may have noticed the buttons that seem to be popping up on a number of web pages. These buttons are links to syndicated feed documents. The feed document contains a snapshot of the content currently syndicated by the website, e.g. a collection of the most recent postings to a weblog. This feed document is not typically intended for human consumption, but instead for use by a range of newsreaders and aggregators. Newsreaders and aggregators are software applications that manage and consume feeds, and display them in a variety of ways for users.

Popular syndication formats are RSS and PEAW/Atom/Echo.
