The Connection Was Refused When Attempting to Connect

OK,

I'm having an issue whenever I try to subscribe to a feed that uses 127.0.0.1 and then some port number. In Firefox, I get an error that states
"The connection was refused when attempting to connect to 127.0.0.1"
In IE, I can't connect either but get a different message.

I thought this might be a firewall issue so I turned off ZoneAlarm Pro to test, but still same problem. Any ideas? I tried contacting the webmaster of the site in question, but no response.

I'm on a WinXP box with SP2 but don't use the MS firewall. I'm also using a LinkSys Boradband router.

Hello. What was the setting you used to fix it? I am having the same trouble connecting to Amazon.com on my network but all other machines can connect.
